Responsibilities

  • Read blueprints & specifications to lay out work
  • Safely operate tools & equipment
  • Unload materials to access, relocate, and/or hoist as needed
  • Erect and install construction cranes & hoisting equipment
  • Assemble rigging to move materials
  • Direct crane operators with hand signals or radios
  • Select, cut, bend, position, and secure steel bars or wire mesh to reinforce concrete
